At Legit Luxury London, we are committed to providing professional, independent authentication services for luxury handbags, watches, wallets and footwears only. Due to the nature of our services, this Refund Policy outlines when refunds may or may not be available.
By purchasing our services, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Nature of Our Services
Authentication is a professional service based on the review, analysis, and assessment of the information and images submitted by the client.
Once an authentication assessment has commenced, our professional expertise and time have been invested in providing the service. For this reason, authentication services are generally non-refundable.
2. Non-Refundable Services
Authentication fees are non-refundable once any of the following has occurred:
* Your order has been assigned to an authenticator.
* The authentication assessment has begun.
* An authentication report or certificate has been issued.
* A final verdict has been communicated to you.
Refunds will not be granted because:
* You disagree with the authentication outcome.
* Another authentication provider reaches a different conclusion.
* You decide not to use the report after it has been completed.
* You no longer require the service after work has commenced.
* You intend to return or sell the item.
* The item is determined to be counterfeit or not authentic.
Authentication fees are charged for the professional assessment itself, not for achieving a particular result.
3. Eligible Refunds
A full or partial refund may be issued in the following circumstances:
* Duplicate or accidental payments.
* Payment was processed more than once for the same order.
* Legit Luxury London is unable to perform the requested service.
* An order is cancelled by Legit Luxury London before authentication work has commenced.
* A refund is required under applicable consumer protection laws.
Approved refunds will be returned using the original payment method whenever possible.
4. Cancellation Before Assessment
You may request cancellation of your order before authentication work has begun.
If the assessment has not yet been assigned or started, we may approve a refund, less any non-recoverable payment processing or administrative fees where permitted by law.
Once authentication work has commenced, cancellation is no longer possible.
5. Inconclusive Results
Where insufficient information or image quality prevents a definitive authentication, Legit Luxury London may issue an Inconclusive result.
An inconclusive outcome does not automatically qualify for a refund, as professional time and expertise have already been dedicated to the assessment.
Where appropriate, we may request additional photographs or information before issuing a final conclusion.
6. Incorrect Information Provided by the Client
We are not responsible for delays, inconclusive assessments, or additional review requirements resulting from:
* Blurry or low-quality photographs.
* Missing required images.
* Edited or altered photographs.
* Incorrect serial numbers, date codes, or microchip information.
* Incomplete or inaccurate information submitted by the client.
These circumstances do not qualify for a refund.
7. Technical Issues
If a technical error on our part prevents completion of your authentication service, we will, at our discretion:
* Complete the assessment as soon as reasonably possible;
* Reissue the authentication report or certificate; or
* Provide an appropriate refund if the service cannot be completed.
8. Chargebacks
If you believe a payment has been made in error, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider.
Initiating a chargeback after an authentication report has been completed may result in suspension or refusal of future services until the matter is resolved.
9. Processing Refunds
Where a refund is approved, it will generally be processed within 5–10 business days, although the time required for the funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.
